Iceland is one of the hottest tourist destinations on earth. But most of these tourists only visit the famous "Golden Circle."
Our challenge was to get them to explore the other regions. There was just one problem: these regions are so unknown, not even Google knows much about them.
So we created Ask Gudmundur - "the world's first human search engine," to help people find them.
As well as the search engine, we also made real-life Gudmundur Hangouts and Gudmundur Mobile.
Thanks to the campaign, the number of tourists to these outer regions rose by 207,183, which contributed about
$39.6 million to the Icelandic economy.
